I am trying to connect to an sql server that is on a separate machine. I am getting a ping reply from that machine but when I try to create a new connection on qliksense hub, it fails
I am assuming that it is because the hub is using a different port than what we opened for our database server
Is there any way to tell the hub to use some specific ports for connecting to the sql server?
Which ports is it using by default by the way?
Arif
Same issue here, did you find a fix for this?
Seems odd, I found I can put any old password / username (even if it doesn't exist) in there and it validates as OK.
Can ping the SQL server fine.
Correct user and password combination, still cannot select database.
Error returned is "Connector Connect Error {0}"
ODBC works fine.
Hi,
Also facing the same problem and also using ODBC.
Any of you figured out the problem?
Which version of Sense are you running?
Hi,
February 2018 release.
It stopped working (we think) after changing the Service Account password and is only happening with Hana connections. I can't create a new ODBC connection in Sense and I get the same error "You do not have access to the data source".
Creating and testing a Data source in ODBC administrator works just fine and creating ODBC connections in Sense to Oracle, for example, also works fine.
We already reinstalled the hdbodbc drivers, added the new SA password to all Qlik services (except database) again and restarted them in the correct order. But nothing worked so far.
Strange.
We are running april release.
