Getting app object metadata via REST API in Qlik Cloud

Hi,

In the company that I work at, we've got many extensions and I want to get rid of most of them. To do that, I'd need first to check which dashboards they are used in.

I couldn't find it in https://qlik.dev/apis/rest/

 I've seen there's an application "Extension Usage Dashboard-master" but unfortunately doesn't seem to be compatible with Qlik Cloud

Any clue? Thank you

Hi @Daniel_Pilla ,

I have a requirement like in one of the Qlik sense app that has been migrated from client managed I need to fetch both private sheets and private bookmarks from this to cross verify whether all the objects were migrated correctly or not , as a tenant admin I will be able to see public and community content but not the private content?

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated on this.

Regards,

Raju

Hi @Daniel_Pilla ,

Can we also get user's private bookmark details using oauth along with qlik-api.

Hello @Daniel_Pilla

Do you have any updates on the availability of this feature ?

"Object metadata is not yet available RESTfully. This is in active development, but is not yet there"

For some customers, we still struggle to explain that a complete backup/recovery of an app (public, community and private sheets) in QlikCloud is not possible

Best regards,

Anthony

@TcnCunha_M

I'm having the exact same problem, even trying to add the ID of the bot to the section access table doesn't seem to work - still getting access denied with the CLI.

Did you find a way around this?

@Daniel_Pilla

Is there even a way around this?
