What's the difference between the Object Id and Object Stable Id for a data element in Talend Data Catalog? These both appear as Common Attributes when I view my data elements in Metadata Explorer and click on the Columns display option > Grid view. Both ID types appear to be sequentially generated (not random).
- The Object Id appears to have an all-numeric format ####_#(###); for example, 1028_7490
- The Object Stable Id appears to have an alphanumeric format; for example, AAEEAgAAAATv
Q: Does either/both IDs persist across model harvests (imports)? In other words, could an ID be used as a GUID?
Q: Does either ID persist when an element is used from a model to create a glossary term via bootstrapping?
