Windows 2012 Installation

Hi All

I've just tried to deploy QDF on Windows Server 2012 to a folder on a Data Drive, not c:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Documents.

The first issue I encountered was that the 99.Shared_Folder was not created but it's contents were alongside the 0.Administration folder.

The second problem I have is when I go into the Variable editor and try to reorganise this and create the 99.Shared_Folder when I click Update Map and create containers I get an error saying "cannot open file ContainerMap.csv for writing"

Please can anyone advise?

Thanks

Dominic

Hi Dominic, It's probably UAC that is preventing disk access, you need to run as administrator.

See the thread below.

Warning! Variable Editor Could not find Development Framework Core. This application will not work.

Yep, I agree with Magnus.

The very same thing happened to me yesterday until I realised I wasn't running de QDF installation with "Run as Administrator".

After that, 0 problems

Best regards.
