Our Cloud team has suggested to move from intel based AWS Ec2 instances to AMD based EC2 instances.

We want to know how would be the performance of the new instance.
Hi,
Performance of the new instance will be slightly better due to better AWS technologies and a greater max CPU frequency (3,1 Ghz for current, 3,6 Ghz for new (turbo)).
By the way, it's a good practice to upgrade EC2 instance to the newer one. Costs are lower (up to 35%) while performance are slighlty better.
