Best way to upgrade Qlik Sense August 2021 to current version

Hi all, 

In a previously little-used Qlik Sense Ent environment, with the August 2021 Patch III (14.28.9) release, Qlik Sense is to be updated.

I would like to 'save' relevant settings from the QMC via screeshot and reinstall Qlik Sense with the current version.

Otherwise uninstall patch, uninstall Qlik Sense.
Install latest version Qlik Sense + patches
The database also updates itself?
