Hi All!
As per title, we are changing our admin user and want to move the data connections and connections per application to the new user.
Data connections is pretty straight forward where we can change the owner from the data connections screen. The problem is with all the applications that use these data connections.
Do we have to open one by one all the applications and change/update the data connection or is there a function we can use to update them with a mass update?
Thanks
@iacovosk So far my knowledge you have to do individually including all Monitoring_apps data connections.
Thank you @Anil_Babu_Samineni for your input.
Are there any other configurations we have to adjust besides the data connections?
For example, we have shared folders that we will also have to change the owner to the new admin. If both admin accounts are also admins on the machine, is enough for this change?
@iacovosk Are you planning to change data connection username or fileshare data connections owner? As soon as you have both privileges in the same way, I guess that must work.
@iacovosk You can press Control key and keep selecting the data connections and change the details like owner and password in one short. You don't have to do it one by one.
It's best to take a backup of your QSR Database before trying this.
