I would like to add MS Access files into Qlik Sense but found connection error. All are sitting on windows 7 64-bit computer but with 32-bit windows office.
Is it the correct way for Qlik Sense to connect to 'windows\sysWOW64\odbcad32.exe instead of the normal connection to 32-bit ODBC (under windows\system32\odbcad32.exe)?
Or it has another alternative?
Hope you can help out there. Thank you.
Access DB is on another PC than the one running Sense (Desktop or Server?).
Is the connection string in the form of a UNC that has been appropriately shared to the account attempting the connection?
Access DB and Sense are sitting on the same desktop. No connection string is set so far.
Now I changed installation 64-bit MS Access. Same connection error occurred.
Try with "Microsoft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE DB Provider" option.
Hi Monique,
Have you try to connect your MS Access Data to ODBC first? before connect to Qlik Sense? if not yet try first,
i hope it is helpful.
