Email Notification for Scheduled Tasks

Hi,

Is there a way to create an email notification for scheduled tasks (failed or success) without having access to the window server that the Qlik Sense is installed on?

I only have access to QMC and Hub using the credential that was given to me. I tried searching online but all of them requires configuration or installation in the server side:

1. https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Sense-App-Development/Schedule-Task-Failure-Email-Notification/m-...

2. https://developer.qlik.com/garden/56fd8bd3353d08684f6726bc

3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06IsKMG6irQ

Also, if possible, I would like to test it out first on my personal laptop, which only have Qlik Sense Desktop and no access to Hub and QMC. Are there any scripts that I can add on the data load editor?

Sincerely,

Rey

@reycarloluber, given your request and apparent scenario, without installing the Web Connector product which requires license purchase, you will not be able to accomplish your task; The Web Connector is usually installed on the QS server, but this is not a rule; So you could technically install it outside the server granted the server can properly make the connection to the machine you installed it on; This requires additional configuration tho which is described under https://support.qlik.com/articles/000020389

@reycarloluber, looks like you have all the information. There is also a KB article on this. https://support.qlik.com/articles/000014700

@Andre_Sostizzo  Ah. So there's no way to achieve this via data load editor and QMC alone? I need to have access to the Node where Qlik Sense is installed on to apply (and most importantly test) the email functionality?
