Engine Service has 'not connected' status in QSR.public.ServiceStatus table

Hi all,

We're facing a weird trouble in one of our QlikSense installations.

All QS Services are running with specifically local admin user account (we created 'qlik' user to run those services), but neither QMC nor Hub are accesible.

Searching in postgres database, we found the table QSR.public.ServiceStatus, that shows that ServiceType 0, 1, 2 and 5 (Repository, Proxy, Scheduler and Printing) has ServiceState = 2 (Running), but ServiceType 3 (Engine) has ServiceState = 3 (NoCommunication).

I know it's a hard to answer questions, but ¿How we can fix it?

Our support partner is taken its time to respond to our support request, so we're looking for help anywhere.

Thanks everybody in advance.

Regards,

Luján, Gestion-PSD

There can be many reasons for the QMC/HUB to be inaccessible.

Could be do to FIPS being enabled in the security policy.

Possible Antivirus issue (turn it off or exclude the qlik folders).

Port 443 availability is another reason. Ensure Port 443 is not taken by another application.

Try and attempt to access the QMC using https:\\localhost\qmc

If you attempt to access the QMC post a screenshot here. I would not recommend accessing the database to figure this out.
