hic
> I mean both professional and analyzer user can access application unlimited time(session concept).
Correct.
They are NOT the same.
Professional/Analyzer are new licensing model introduced with April 2018.
Licens needs to be converted if you want to utilize the new model.
then what does below points mean?
Please explain little bit more. I am new to qlik sense QMC
Those are the two licensing models.
The old one is the token based license with user access and login access.
The new model introduced in April is the user based with professional and analyzer.
If you have an old installation you have the token based model.
This model can be converted to user based, contact Qlik if you want to convert.
You can not have both models active at the same time.
Hey Silambarasan,
Professional/Analyzer (Subscription) licenses aren't directly comparible to the token model.
Under a token model, you have a pool of tokens which can be allocated for use as User Access Passes or Login Access Passes.
For an example, let's assume you have 100 tokens. These can be dived up into any combination of buckets (Login vs. User). Those users will have permission to do whatever the security rule framework allows.
Users who are allocated from a pool of login access passes will use 1 access pass per 60 minutes of usage.
Under the subscription licensing model, you have a set number of passes which can be allocated to the two pre-defined user types. These users will have permission to do actions in line with the restrictions on their license type. Professional users can do whatever security rules allow. Analyzer users functionally can consume apps + some minor object creation like bookmarks:

Hope that helps.
Can I say that the professional and analyzer licensed user access the application without session concept
Can I say that the professional and analyzer licensed user access the application without session concept
What do you mean by the session concept? If you mean that there's a time based duration for the license, then yes.
If we're being crude about it then:
I mean both professional and analyzer user can access application unlimited time(session concept).
Actually I mess up both user based license and token based license. Now I got it.
I mean both professional and analyzer user can access application unlimited time(no more session concept used in this model. Am I correct).
Actually I mess up both user based license and token based license. Now I got it.
