Installation problem: Able to install with a local server service account but not a domain account?

Hi,

We are trying to install a recent version of Qlik Sense Enterprise.

When performing the installation and getting to the part where services running account details are required, I cannot get it to install with a domain\id and passoword. But it does install when I use a local server account.

Anybody know what the issue could be?

Hi, confirm that the computer is part of the service account domain, that the user running the installation belongs to the same domain and also belogs the the administrators group of the server.

You can also check the option to install as local service and after the installation finishes change each of the service properties to use the domain account (wich also requieres to be part of the local administrators group).

Is the service account an administrator on the server?  Qlik Sense user accounts.

Hi Ruben,

The service account we want to use will not be an administrator.

In the Help I can see this is possible: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/February2019/Subsystems/PlanningQlikSenseDeployments/Content/Sense...

I have ensured the account is a member of the Qlik Sense Service Users and Performance Monitor Users as per the guide.

But I am stuck in understanding what else is missing.
