Installing Qlik Sense on Test server

Hi All,

We have Qlik Sense already running in production with Nov 2020 release (Windows Enterprise).

Now we want to upgrade this to May 2021 (Windows Enterprise) but we  are planning to give it a try on test server first. So I need to install Qlik Sense from fresh on TEST server first and then try upgrading it to simulate prod upgradation scenario.

Do we have any license obligation for this ?  As I am gonna install Windows enterprise first and then try upgrade.

Do I need to have special license or any specific steps to follow to achieve this.

Thanks

Aniket

Hi @AniketVasadkar It depends on what type of license you have. If you have a client managed subscription, by default you will have additional TEST and DEV keys delivered to you. You can reach out to our Customer support team or your Account manager who can help you with the TEST keys.

If you don't have a TEST key in your current subscription, your account manager can provide you with TEST keys valid for a certain period which you can use for this scenario.

I hope this helps. Let me know!

Thanks!
