Hi, I have 2 server. In one server I installed the Central node. In another server trying to install the RIM node. While installing I'm facing the issue in Postgres connectivity like "Database could not be reached". Kindly suggest.
Note: I can able to telnet to that particular server via DB port.
Hi @balajibc64
probably you need to configure postgresql.con and pg_hba.conf accordingly to your network topology.
You can find info here
Best,
Hello @balajibc64 ,
I do agree that what @giociva posted might be the solution, but also ensure the RIM know uses the very same version as the central node.
Cheers,
Albert
Hello,
Yes, you could all the IP range to listen to all IPv4 and IPv6 addresses to test if afterwards works properly.
0.0.0.0/0
for all IPv4 addresses
::0/0
for all IPv6 addresses
Cheers,
Albert

Thanks. But I'm installing now only. Moreover, in that location under C drive, there is no folder like Qlik.
@balajibc64 what folder are you referring to?
The postgres config folder is by default C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Repository\PostgreSQL\9.6 (or 12.5 depending on which Qlik Sense version you are installing and if Postgres is embedded with Qlik Sense).
Best,
Hello @balajibc64 ,
Are you checking the central node or the server where the DB is installed if you have a dedicated PostgreSQL Database.
Cheers,
Albert
Below error i'm facing while installing the qlik in rim node
Hello @balajibc64 ,
On the central node, have you checked the file we mentioned on the Support article?
pg_hba.conf
Cheers,
Albert
Hey, Oops I didn't notice that file. I have checked and tired to changed that file based on that. Once changed I'm unable to start the Qlik DB service.
Whether I need to change based on the IP range given in the above link?
