Hi,
We have configurated our Qlik Sense site to open the Qlikview documents in the hub.
Everything is working fine for people with a normal token (user access pass).
But we also have a pool of 20 users we are given a login access pass.
When they try to open their qlik view documents in the hub, they get an error "The server has no USER CAL for your account"
This looks like an Qlikview error, but the access to qlikview documents in the accesspoint works fine.
Has anyone else seen this error before?
Is their a difference between how Qlik Sense handles user and login access passes when opening a qlikview document?
Thanks in advance,
Kind regards,
Isabelle
So Qlik Sense does no license allocation or checks for QlikView documents distributed to the Qlik Sense Hub. When you click on the distributed QlikView document, a new browser tab opens which points to the QlikView server.
If there's a license denial on that separate tab then it's coming from QlikView.
Practically I've not seen issues in this regard so contacting Qlik Support for a more in-depth inspection is ideal but my first thought is something is different on the authentication side between the scenarios.
Well it does something: It sends the authentication from Sense to View.
And you are correct, according to support it looks like there is a difference in authentication.
