Move from Single Node Environment to Multi Node Environment

Hello everyone,

Our current architecture is single node, however we intend to adapt it to multi-node architecture. What are the fundamental requirements, how to accomplish this using best practices, and what steps we need to take?

Kindly make recommendations.

Regards ahead of time.

Hi,

The basic steps will be,

  1. Need to make sure what you are going to use your Node for (dev/prod/reload)
  2. The new system should be able to communicate with the deployed Qlik Sense Server
  3. The new system should be in the same domain as the deployed Qlik Sense Server
  4. I recommend having an upgraded Powershell & Dot Net Framework in both the systems
  5. After installation the Qlik Sense in the Node make sure you have installed the same version that is running in your central / the deployed Qlik Sense Server

Please mark the correct replies as Solution. Regards, ARK

Hi Ajay,

All the steps mentioned for fresh setup of Multi node environment. But in my case I am already running  Single node and want to convert in Multi node. Is any way to convert or I have to go with fresh setup only?
