No rights to make changes in QMC

Hi,

I'm working on an old VM of my company, to see what's been done on the Qlik Sense server that was installed there and retrieve the license. I can access the Hub and QMC but only through https://localhost/hub or https://localhost/qmc. When I try to logon ( either with the Qlik sense service user on the VM or my account ) through  https://myservername/qmc or https://myservername/hub (here https://srv-s-qlik.accelis.intra )the windows authentification on the browser doesn't work and asks me to type my id + password again after i enter it (and again and again ...). But my main issue is that, i'm trying to access the QMC to retrieve the license. But neither my personal account or the qlik sense service user can make changes on the QMC (they're both administrator on the VM) and I don't know if there is another account in the company that has the rights to access it and still exists.  I've linked the logs of the server. Hope I can find a quick fix.

Hi @TheKiwi,

 

What you are having in QMC means that your user is not having the rootadmin role.

I would suggest the 2 below articles which might help you solve the issue:

Thanks ! Helped a lot, I just added the RootAdmin role to my id on the PostgreSQL Database and I can access the QMC. Tried everything for more than a day when the solution only takes 2 minutes ...
