Qlik.Printing.Sense.Service stopped working

Running QS1.1 I already had this issue, but after updating to 2.11 it is now a full time problem:

I get this popup (error message) one after the other:

Steps I have already tried:

• I've uninstalled Sense, reinstalled it
• Also as Admin
• Run the service myself
• Set: ServicePipeTimeout to 5 minutes in Registry

All without any effect.

Looking for a sollution.
(Running Windows 8.1 64bit)

Qlik Sense works just fine by the way, however, this pop-up is more than anoying, as it keeps comming.

Hello Nick,

Check your log to see which program is in conflict.
In my case it was Lavasoft, but it can be any mallware.

I know it may not exactly solve the problem.

But the pop-up error suddenly stopped after I simply renamed the "Printing.exe" in %temp%

To those of you that still might be experiencing this issue I found that in my case the cause was an incomplete uninstall of the Lavasoft product Web Companion on my Windows 10 laptop (Lavasoft hides things down in the Windows folders - see below).  The following is Option #2 from a post by a Lavasoft moderator on their community (it was the only thing that worked for me after a lot of earlier thrashing with no good result).

Option #2

1. Please, start Command Prompt as an administrator by right-clicking it and select Run as administrator.

2. Enter this command to reset the network adapter (end with the Enter key):

netsh winsock reset

3. Restart the computer.

4. Please, delete these two files:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\LavasoftTcpService64.dll

C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\LavasoftTcpService.dll (only for 64-bit Windows)

Thank you very much. Had the same Proglem. In my case ist was "Web Companion" running the LavasoftTcpService.exe. After uninstalling Web Companion QS is running well.
