Hi
Is it possible with Qlik Sense, out of the box to authenticate users with LDAP? From what I have read it seems that the only way is through the available API's where we would have to handle the authentication ourselves then pass that to Sense.
Thanks for any feedback provided.
Eric
Ok, so yes the 3 option provide on the URL you gave are the only approaches available. Her you can find more about Qlik Sense for Developer ( API's, etc) : http://help.qlik.com/sense/en-us/developer/

Eric,
Can you elaborate little more? Because you can add generic LDAP for your directory service.
Gio
While I have not tired it myself, there is a "Generic LDAP" user directory connector as standard in Qlik Sense.
Hi Giuseppe
Thanks for the reply. Yes, we have setup a generic LDAP UDC to pull in the users. However this only pulls in user attributes which we could use for authorization. I was hoping for an out of the box LDAP solution that would allow authentication.
Thanks
Eric

Ok, Thanks Gio.
Do you know if this is a feature or module that is currently being worked on by Qlik or is planning to be released anytime soon?
Eric
Eric,
Unfortunately, I am not aware on any future implementation of Qlik sense that might carry this kind of solution.
Best thing is to keep up with Qlik Sense Forum for new implementations or release notes, when a new version of Qlik Sense is out to the public.
Gio
Ok thanks for the help.
