Qlik \Sense licensing for migration and upgrade

We are upgrading our Qlik Sense Sept 2020 Enterprise environments to new servers and upgrading to Qlik Sense Feb 2022.  We need to run both the old and new environments at the same time for testing. and my Qlik rep has provided temporary license keys for the new environment.  Are their any best practices for changing the license keys after the restore to the new environment then changing them back later?

Hi @J_Mulholland 

No we don't have any best practice when you change the license. You only need to go to the license tab paste the license and apply.

You just need to be aware of one thing, when you apply a SLK license to an environment the only type of license you will be able to use in the future have to be an SLK.

It is not possible to apply a LEF after using a SLK, so if your old environment use LEF you will have to contact your account manager to have it transfer to SLK.
