Qliksense Nov 2018 Repository service is not starting

Dear All,

We are currently facing an issue with Nov 2018 version repository service is not running. 

In the same machine Sep 2018 version absolutely fine. 

If you have any suggestions / known problems kindly do let me know.

Hello,

Is it the Windows Service not starting up or is the service running and you can never access the QMC/HUB?

If it's the Windows Service not starting I would suggest checking in two places:

  • Windows Event logs -> Application
  • C:\Programdata\Qlik\Sense\Log\Repository\Trace\System.txt

If the services are running but you can get to the QMC/HUB then only you should just need to look into C:\Programdata\Qlik\Sense\Log\Repository\Trace\System.txt

As far as I know, there is no specific issue in Qlik Sense November 2018 that would cause that.

Thanks for your kind reply and sorry for late reply from my end.

1. Yes, window service and it runs then immediately stops.

2. No, i am unable to get access for Hub and QMC. 

So, kindly let me know if any other solution suggestions are welcome!
