Reload task on particular Reload node

Hi,

I am using qliksense enterprise.

Is it possible to send a particular reload task to an specific reload node? I have 3 reload nodes and I want to send one particular reload task to reload node #3

Please let me know if anyone has done this.

Thanks

The same principals apply to reload tasks as app consumption in the hub. So any guide which scopes to load balancing rules which may reference app consumption applies equally to app reloads.

Reference docs:

Thanks Levi, I will go through the documents.

If we don't do pinning / load balancing rules, then the master scheduler distributes the reload tasks to scheduler nodes randomly according to the resource availability on each scheduler node correct?

Thanks

Basically, yes beginning with the November 2019 release:

Qlik Sense November 2019 introduces a new load balancing scheme. In previous versions of Qlik Sense, the
algorithm always chose the load-balancing node with the lowest CPU load. The CPU load of all nodes was
updated every 5 seconds, which might have resulted in consecutive reloads being distributed to the same
node. To improve the handling of frequent consecutive reloads, the algorithm has been changed to select the
node with the lower number of running tasks per "Max concurrent reloads" setting, tracking this value on the
scheduler master node.

Ok Thanks Levi for that information.

@jpjust Thanks for asking this question on this forum. It's helpful to read that.

Sorry for asking it on this thread and if you don't mind, I was wondering how you've configured the 3 reload nodes. Are you using specific AWS servers?
