I would like to break out my Development Nodes and my Production Nodes. First step is to make sure that all applications are reloaded on the Development Nodes. I read the article below but have a question. I have four rim nodes I would like two of them as Development and two as Production. Can I follow the instructions below and only allow the Development nodes to be slaves for reloading and make the two Production nodes masters for viewing only?
Description
In multi-node environments, the apps can be reloaded on any node.
Environments:
Qlik Sense, any version
Resolution
To set reloads to only run on Rim nodes:
Hello Mccuthan
As far as i know, you can only have 1 master scheduler on the same time.
You can set 1 of your production server as master scheduler and disable scheduler service on other prdouction node to take app reloads away from them. Leave development nodes as slave.
Hi BITZAG_OA,
Thanks for your response.
I have already done that but it was my understanding that the Scheduler is used for only task that have been created. I am more concerned with the 300 developers that are reloading their applications.
