SSL Certificate installation issue

Hi,

We have installed generated a CSR key , submitted to our CA and imported the certificate into the MMC on the Qlik Sense server. Also, we have registered the Thumbprint on the QMC. However, we are still getting the https error message. Any help appreciated

Not sure if you have seen this, but it is just about the most concise but comprehensive guide on this subject.

Hi Mamathat,

Have a look at your Proxy logs, specifically the Trace\Security_Proxy one.

That should give you an idea of any issues Sense has with the installed certificate.

Also, within the browser open the certificate that is being presented to make sure that it matches the one you have installed and are trying to use.

Thanks,

Simon

If you click on the part of the browser that states 'Not Secure', it should give you the option to view the certificate.

Does it match up with the one you've added, or is it the self-signed one that Sense creates?

Ok, then what is the actual error presented by the browser? If it's gone, can you click on the 'not secure' part again and screenshot that.

If the certificate is right, then Sense has accepted it as valid, so there must be something incorrectly configured in the certificate.
