Signed License Key Removal

I am using Qlik Sense June/2019 server and activated the license using the "signed license key". We are moving to the new server and would like to use the same "signed license key" on the new server. How can I remove the "signed license key" from the older server. I don't see an option.

Can anyone help pls

Good evening Rehan,

what do you mean by removing?
Would you like to go back to a LEF enabled site (maybe one with token or core license)? Or would you like to set a different Signed License Key?

As far as I know, you cannot 'go back' to LEF once you use the Signed License Key (see How to Apply Signed License Key ), while changing to a different Signed License Key should not be a problem.

Also, since Signed License Key can be used for multi-geo deployments you could probably consider the possibility to keep the same license in both environments (the same user list will be used, as you can see in this article: The Signed License Key (SLK) and the License Enabler File (LEF) ).

I hope this helps,
Riccardo

First, accept my apologies for a very late answer. I was pinged just earlier today regarding this question.

The answer and best solution are to use the same Signed License Key for when you activate your new site. With both QS Sites active, you will now get all user assignments synced to the new server. You can at any point in time stop using the first server and retire as you feel appropriate. All users will still be on the new server.
