Unable to find the RIM node task running.

Hi, Already I raised this  question, but still facing the issue.

I have 2 node Central and RIM node. I configure one task in the RIM node and task is running fine. But how to check the whether the task is running in RIM node only or not ? How to prove this.

Created one node and named as dedicated for RIM node.

This below task belong to RIM node. Also running fine.

@Albert_Candelario Yes Albert. Still need help. Where I need to see the logs for the RIM node ? In QMC, task tab able to see the RIM node server name in the log file but not able to see in the TASK overview details.

Hello  @balajibc64 ,

Did you also inspect the Monitoring app ? This might help you to get a better overview. Also, who are the nodes set up? if the central is only manager and the RIM worker, then all reloads will be executed to the RIM, unless is executed from the DLE.

@Albert_Candelario Thanks for you reply. But I couldn't able to find in monitoring app. Also please find the below few screenshots.

Step1 : Already I have one app, so I tagged my RIM node under this app.

Step2:

Created one task and mapped the existing app for the same.

Also When I notice while running the task, still the log shows Central node hostname not showing RIM node hostname.

Please suggest and clarify.

Note: Not understand this statement, "unless is executed from the DLE."

@Albert_Candelario I checked and yes I can able to see the logs under the log folder.  C:/PROGRAMDATA/QLIK/SENSE/LOG/SCRIPT/LOG.

But I'm not seeing in the Task Details under Operations Monitor. Please suggest. How to check in the UI dashboard.

Hello @balajibc64 ,

Thanks for posting.

I was not referring to the Operation Monitor, but the Reloads Monitor,  you might need to import the app to be visible under the Monitoring apps stream.

Is the Central node removed from the Engine list of the virtual proxy as well as set up as Manager only, so the RIM node is as worker?

Hello @balajibc64,

I was referring for the reloads executed manually on the central node HUB on your work stream, so DLE (data load editor) executions can still appear on the logs as execute do the central node.

Albert
