Upgrade Sense CM from Nov.2019 to Feb. 2022

Hello everybody

I need to upgrade from Qlik Sense CM version Nov. 2019 to Feb. 2022.
Reading the documentation of the versions after Nov. 2019 I read about the change of the framework (from .Net 4.5.2 to .Net 4.8 in the Qlik Feb. 2021 version) and also of the new db postgres v.12.x (from version May 2021)

Do you have any suggestions for upgrading?

I was thinking of execute the upgrade in 3 different steps to avoid problems:

from Nov 2019:
-install February 2021
-installed in May 2021
-install February 2022

Is it excessive?
Do you have any useful tips about it?

Thank you all.

Latest version is May 2024 patch 1.

How to upgrade depends on what version you are on now. See

And what is the most current version possible that you recommend updating? Another question: Do I need to update Postgre first?

The latest version would be May 2024 Patch 2.

Regarding your Postgre database, if it is on a version lower than 14.x, then I would suggest that it is upgraded to the latest version.
If your environment is using the default database installed by Qlik installer, the QPI tool can be used to upgrade your database. Upgrading and unbundling the Qlik Sense Repository... - Qlik Community - 1934238
