Using ports' ranges during a multi-node setup

Hello,

I am doing a multi-node installation and I need to open several ports on each of the servers:

I've got a question from my Infrastructure team: is it possible to open a range of ports?

For example: use 4200-4249 range instead of opening individual ones: 4242, 4244, 4239, 4248, for example?

Or using even more broader ranges?

I would appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Vlad

If the reqired ports to open is in the range, of course it works! You can handle to change the port number to restrict that range (this is probably what your infrastructure team wants). For ports 4242, 4244 and 4248 you need to modify the Proxy configuration --> Ports in QMC, and set them next to the 4239.
