I have set up Qlik sense installation and am using windows authentication for user login. I need to use another authentication that allows users to reset their password.
Hello,
Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows allows for the integration of a variety of authentication methods. You can find examples (not an exhaustive list) here: Authentication.
Though if you are looking to configure something where a user is able to reset their password, you may need to look into a custom solution. We have our Consulting Services who can assist you.
All the best,
Sonja
You can use any popular custom solutions for user identification. For example OKta and others.
The ability for users to reset their password should be part of your identity provider solution. This is not a QSEoW issue.
Hello @hillarynyawate,
Why windows authentication will not allow the users to reset their password?
I guess IT AD team will be able to do so, if needs something more self-service I guess you might need an IdP like Auth0 or others than entering the email will allow users to reset the password, but as mentioned by @korsikov this is not as Qlik Sense client-managed issue as authentication is not managed by it. Regardless, we hope all this information has been useful.
Cheers,
Albert
