I ask for your help to identify where I may be having the error I saw the examples they have for loading and with the file they provide in the examples I made it without problems, but with the file that I have marks me the following error,  Additional I share the file in case it is the file that presents the fault

It has to be a link to the direct file (download starts)

And it also has to be a zip file (rar not supported).

Si el archivo lo tengo en formato zip y de forma local solo lo puse en la liga para que pudieran descargarlo y  realizar alguna prueba con el

Zip the file instead and put in on dropbox, which offer a direct link access: use https/dl.drop... instead of https:/www.drop...

Hi Patrick, I really appreciate your support, I actually put the file in a zip format, I do it locally, the problem is later once I read it and I want to load the data is when it shows me the error that is in the scrip

Yes, I don't think Google allows direct file access.

Ok, got it. The shapefile contains point data, use "Load" instead of "Simplify"

"Simplify" only accepts line or polygon data.
