Labels: Are there ways to create nicer labels in GeoAnalytics

Hi all,

I like to know if there are ways to adjust the way a label is shown on a map. It looks really basic now a we are looking for ways to make it better looking.

We use GeoAnalytics in QlikView

No, there is no simple property, but their is a trick using a dynamic SVG symbol layer. See tip #6

Hi Patric,

In Sense the following code works:

Result ins Sense app:

When I add the same code in Qlikview app:

clipboard_image_2.png

I get a square as result:

clipboard_image_3.png

What am I missing here?

The problem is Internet Explorer which has problem with rendering SVGs especially on canvas, QV is running IE when in web view. Most of other browsers renders SVGs without problems. More background here:
