Store output into QVD file

Hi guys,

Is it possible to store the output from a GeoAnalytics table (within a load script) into a QVD file?  I am thinking this will speed up the reload time for an application.

Thanks

Jamel

Hi Jamel, thanks for your question.

yes it is - and in some cases recommended as a best practice.

here is an example template that uses a Geocoding feature (requires subscription) - but the code for the writing to QVD and incremental update is in the QVF file.

https://bi.idevio.com/products/qlik-geocoding/template

if you are using Chrome browser - right click and save as....if firefox - just click the link and it should as you to save.

hope this help
