Download page only offers an EXE download for Open Studio for Data Integration

Every product apart from Open Studio for Data Integration offers a zip file (when clicking on the Windows download button) on this page: https://www.talend.com/products/talend-open-studio

Open Studio for Data Integration is the only one that defaults to a Windows exe.

Those looking to deploy this package on Linux have to find alternative sites like Sourceforge to find the zip. Should't Talend's main Webpage offer the zip as it does for all other packages?

Also, why not label the "Windows" download button as "Windows / Linux"?

Hi

You can download the zip file from this Talend webpage.

https://www.talend.com/products/data-integration-manuals-release-notes/

In the details page of each product, scroll the mouse to the bottom of page, you will see a button 'Release', click the button to open the 'release-notes' page, where you can download other releases, release notes or user manual.

Shong

Thanks Shong - I don't need it myself, I just wanted to inform you that there's something wrong with the official website.

A few people are confused by the fact that the link in one of the top results they'll find in a Google search only gives you an exe, not a zip: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/59550549/talend-installtion-on-ubuntu

Shouldn't the website offer the zip, like it does for all the other products? It's not easy for new users to find the page you have linked.

@David Ferguson , I agree with you that this is a bit frustrating and confusing for users. I have forwarded this issue to our Web team. Thanks again!
