Access Custom Dimension Attributes from properties panel

Hi All,

I am trying to create a custom table visualization where in I am trying to add additional option for each dimension that is being added to the visualization. Below is the definitions for the property panel, which is working just fine. However, i am not able to reference the values from the properties panel in my code. 

I have already tried the syntax from the below community post and this seems to work for measures but similar syntax does not work for dimensions. Can someone please share the info on what changes are required for dimensions.
