this is the error message

'Invalid Visualization, the visualization was not found, This extension is not available in the cloud; Advanced-KPI()'

Any help would eb appreciated thanks

Hi Mark

We had the same issue and it seems to be an global issue. A fix is to re-upload the extension to your tenant. That worked for us.

Hello, @Mark_Stuart

I understand how frustrating it can be when a trusted tool suddenly stops working. The error message you’re encountering suggests that the Advanced-KPI extension is either not found or not available in your current environment. Here’s what you can do to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Extension Installation: Verify that the Advanced-KPI extension is properly installed in your Qlik Sense environment. It should be imported using the Qlik Management Console (QMC) to ensure that Qlik Sense recognizes it as installed.
Update the Extension: If the extension is installed but not functioning, check for any available updates. An outdated version might cause compatibility issues.
Replace with Native Object: Consider replacing the extension with a native Qlik Sense object if possible. Sometimes, native objects can provide similar functionality without the need for third-party extensions.
Review Cloud Compatibility: If you’re using Qlik Sense Cloud, ensure that the extension is compatible with cloud environments. Some extensions are designed specifically for desktop or server installations and may not work in the cloud.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

Hi

Thank you for the quick reply, and your help, please see my responses below,

Check Extension Installation: Verify that the Advanced-KPI extension is properly installed in your Qlik Sense environment. It should be imported using the Qlik Management Console (QMC) to ensure that Qlik Sense recognizes it as installed. - Yes its in installed and visible in the Management Console.  Question.  Is it possible to add the extension again to overwrite the current one.

Update the Extension: If the extension is installed but not functioning, check for any available updates. An outdated version might cause compatibility issues. - we have the latest version,  it been installed for over 2 years and has been working everyday until today

Replace with Native Object: Consider replacing the extension with a native Qlik Sense object if possible. Sometimes, native objects can provide similar functionality without the need for third-party extensions. - There is not a native object that does what we need it to do.

Review Cloud Compatibility: If you’re using Qlik Sense Cloud, ensure that the extension is compatible with cloud environments. Some extensions are designed specifically for desktop or server installations and may not work in the cloud. - Cannot see this being an issue as its been on numerous dashboards for years and was working fine.

Not sure if related but many other extensions stopped working today as well in cloud environment.

they are related. re-uploading the extension in management Console seems to be the solution. See also Qlik Cloud Status Status
