We're in the process of redesigning our website, so this is the perfect opportunity for me to explore more with our embedded visualizations and some of the current hiccups we're experiencing.
Setup: On Prem QAP Enterprise, May 2025 (Patch 9), embedded mashups using iframes, anonymous access on all apps.
Issue 1)
Everything displays 90% of the time. The remaining 10%, a single visualization will show as invalid or the whole mashup/iframe will show a lovely Qlik 404 error. Reloading the page resolves the error. My personal guess is this is a problem with the QAP server setup - either hardware or a setting somewhere that we've got wrong - but I'm being told that is not the problem. If you've encountered this and/or have a possible resolution, I'd love to hear it.
Issue 2)
We have a mandate to update everything to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. I'm running into a problem with my filter pane visualizations in the mashups - if you tab into the filter pane, you end up in an endless tab/arrow key loop within a single filter, even if there are multiple filters within the pane. Splitting the filters into separate panes does not help, as you can never leave the first filter. I don't know if this is something I'm doing wrong or just a hiccup with the filters when adding them as an individual visualization in the mashup - aka, Is this a known bug or a "you're doing something wrong". (If I embed the whole sheet as the iframe, everything works great...except that's not really a workable solution.) Is the answer to build my own filters instead of just using the filter panes from the app? Or is there a way to make the app filter pane work here?
Hey @akansan , I have few questions.
Issue 1
Could you please share more details about how you are embedding visualizations (which API/libraries you are using)? Are you using multiple iframes for multiple visualizations? Please share a code snippet if you can.
About the 404 error, we should troubleshoot the issue directly in the browser and see what is happening. an HAR file would be great to have.
Issue 2
I tried to replicate the bahviour, but I think you should open a support case and speak about this with R&D for understanding if something is in roadmap for achieving what you want to do.
Are you experiencing the same issue while opening the Qlik app from Hub?
I would reccommend to read this article.
