Enabling Row-Lock Functionality in SenseOps Writeback
SenseOps Writeback allows users to edit Writeback tables concurrently with others across multiple browser tabs while maintaining complete data integrity. When row locking is enabled, SenseOps locks individual rows while they’re being edited, preventing multiple users from modifying the same row simultaneously.
Only the specific row being edited is locked, others remain editable.
Locked rows are highlighted and are instantly visible to other users in real time and appear as read-only.
Locks are released automatically once changes are saved, undone, or if a session times out.
Multiple tabs or windows opened by the same user share the same session lock context.
All edits are logged with user, timestamp, and previous value for full traceability.
This fine-grained locking ensures smooth multi-user collaboration, eliminates data conflicts, and upholds enterprise-grade governance and compliance standards.
