How do you retrieve selections from a snapshot?

Hi,

Working on making an extension story mode compatible.

The extension does not calculate any dimensions or measures, hence it doesn't have a hypercube. However, the extension displays data from an external database based on the current selection state.

When reading the layout in story mode (ie isSnapshot = true), the snapshotData property in the layout seems to show the field names which were selected when the extension was snapshotted. However, it doesn't show the values.

Any ideas why? What's the correct approach to retrieve the selection state from a snapshot?
