Memcached vulnerability and Qlik

Hello Qlik-ers:

I came across this article and wondered if Qlik uses Memcached as part of it's in memory functionality. Anyone know the answer? My searches have turned up null.

https://www.itopstimes.com/itsec/corero-memcached-vulnerability-worse-originally-thought/

The obvious follow-up would be if the answer is yes, what measures is Qlik taking to protect against the vulnerability described in the article.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi,

No Qlik does not use memcached. You can find a list of third party software in the menu, under 'About':

It's quite a long list, but memcached is not on it.
