I'm in the middle of creating a mashup and one of my requirements is to display alert pop ups if certain scenarios are met. What I mean by this exactly is as follows:
I would like to use the Qlik Sense Engine API to read a value stored in a field/variable (this will be the outcome of an if statement flag - will be either a 0 or 1). Once I read the contents, I can then use JavaScript to say if contents of variable/field is 1, then display a JavaScript alert.
Can someone please tell me how I can read from a variable or the contents of a field using the API?
