Qlik Sense App Filtering

Hi Everyone,

One of our customers has a question. They want to filter applications in the Qlik Sense QMC.

There are a number of points to take into account:

• There are more than 2000 apps
• There are several development teams
• There are AD groups linked to streams by means of custom properties
• Due to the number of apps (2000) it is impossible to manually assign each app a custom property.

They work with SAML, so they only have the AD groups available during a session in the SAML ticket

They give the following explanation: If we want to filter apps in Sense, we have 2 options:

An app can be published and then has a "stream".

An app has an "owner"

They prefer to be able to filter on AD groups.

They ask the following questions:

Are there perhaps solutions that can automatically assign custom properties via the APIs?

Or is there a better solution for this situation?
