Qlik Sense Write back function

Hello,

I am finding extensions/ integration for the write back function.

I have found the example of WriteBack_Workflow_Sample.qvf.

However, the data set is not fit to my demo case. Also, the setting behind requires a lot of technical knowledge.

Could you provide the steps/ procedure to teach how to set up the write back function or provide alternative tools/ extensions that support write back.

Thanks,

Leo

Hi,

I suggest that if you have a web developer than you can use my extension to which is a form that can be created,

You can find it from https://github.com/ajaykakkar93

  1. Download InputForm extension from above link
  2. there a tutorial that can be helpful to make it happen

If you have queries that get in touch.

Hi Leo,

I hope you have found a solution to your request.

If not, then you should take a look at our native Qlik Sense write-back extension "Komment":

Komment

It only use native Qlik functionality and APIs and hence, it can be installed right away without the involvement of IT. All your comments are stored to QVDs so there is no need for external services or databases.

Happy commenting

All the best

Daniel

Check out SenseOps Writeback. It lets you make columns editable directly inside a Qlik Sense table or form and then save those updates to a QVD, Excel/CSV, or even a database without needing complex scripting or custom APIs. And keeps the changes persistent after reloads and supports useful features like audit trails, and post-save actions.

Here’s the link if you want to check it out: https://www.senseops.com/app-extensions/writeback/
