Qlik Sense not working in Chrome version 84.0.4147

Hello Everyone,

I have couple of users reporting that Qlik Sense app is not opening up for them, in Chrome. it has been working fine until now, for quite a long time.

When troubleshooted more, I came to know that there is a Chrome version difference between what i have on my machine (version 79) and theirs (version 84, which is latest i think). One of the users downloaded the version 79, it works and app is opening up. But this is not the right/permanent solution.

Does anyone else has encountered the same issue ? is there any setting in Chrome that needs to be turned on/off for QS to work?

Thanks

Anjali

Thanks Eric, this is what they see :

Uncaught (in promise) Error: Not connected
    at e (setup-view.7b1c93e281bd85370640.js:8)
    at setup-view.7b1c93e281bd85370640.js:8
    at l (app.6.105.7.js:7)
    at app.6.105.7.js:7
    at d.$digest (app.6.105.7.js:7)
    at app.6.105.7.js:7
    at p (app.6.105.7.js:7)
    at app.6.105.7.js:7

So they can get into Qliksense, but when they click on an app, they see the above error. The user also mentioned that this is working in firefox.

However, when I am on the QS server itself, i have Chrome 84 installed there, and it works there though.

hi Erik,

this is what the user sees:

Uncaught (in promise) Error: Not connected
    at e (setup-view.7b1c93e281bd85370640.js:8)
    at setup-view.7b1c93e281bd85370640.js:8
    at l (app.6.105.7.js:7)
    at app.6.105.7.js:7
    at d.$digest (app.6.105.7.js:7)
    at app.6.105.7.js:7
    at p (app.6.105.7.js:7)
    at app.6.105.7.js:7

so he can go to QS hub, but the above message is when he tries to open an app.

it woks in firefox for him.

also, i went to the QS server itself, and Chrome 84 is installed there, when i go to the QS and then the app, it opens up w/o any issues.

Thanks.
