Track Qlik Sense Writeback history

SenseOps Writeback includes a built-in history option that records each update made through the writeback table. When enabled, every edit is stored as a separate entry in a dedicated history table.

How it works

  • Enable history per table: In the storage setup, toggle history on and select the history table where change records should be stored.

  • Captures every edit automatically: When a user modifies a field, SenseOps logs the new value along with key metadata such as user and timestamp.

  • Keeps original data intact: The main table shows only the latest values, while the history table stores the full trail of earlier versions.

You can load the history table into your Qlik app to display a timeline of edits, review previous values, or simply track who updated what.
