NPrinting Multi Document Reports

Questions:

• Is it possible to create NPrinting reports from more than one QlikView or Qlik Sense applications?
• Are MultiDoc NPrinting reports supported for use with NPrinting On Demand?
• Are there any performance related issue with NPrinting multiple document (multidoc) reports

Answers:

• Yes. It is possible to create NPrinting reports from more than one QlikView or Qlik Sense applications
• There is no issue with using these reports with standard scheduled distribution methods such as email, folder, news stand, QS hub via NPrinting Publish tasks

NOTE: On Demand report using Multidoc is NOT supported:

• Multi Document NPrinting reports are NOT supported for use with On Demand.
• All NPrinting reports used with NPrinting On Demand must us a single connection to a single document.

• To mitigate any potential performance bottlenecks or problems trying to use this type of report with On Demand, consider developing a single QVF or QVW containing the full data set/model necessary for creating your report.

Note:

• Linked fields between separate NPrinting connections are not supported
