Access Problems since upgrade to Qlik Sense Enterprise November 2024

Hi all! Since our upgrade to Qlik Sense November 2024, we are experiencing some problems. One of them is that links from other applications are no longer working. I read that there were some upgrade notes on this topic regarding CSRF but I think I need some help on resolving this.

Any ideas? Some users also have issues that they need to constantly clear the cache in Edge to be able to log on. Could this be related?

I understand you're experiencing connection issues after upgrading to Qlik Sense November 2024. This could be related to the changes in CSRF protection that were extended to Websocket requests in this version. Here's a step-by-step guide to help resolve the issue:

  1. Install Qlik Alerting November 2024 SR1 (or later releases).
  2. Navigate to `C:\Program Files\Qlik Alerting\config`.
  3. Open `default.json`.
  4. Change `"webSocketEnabled"` to `true`.
  5. Restart Qlik Alerting services.

Yes - I also believe this has something to do with the "Extended CSRF protection" referenced in the article. However, it is still unclear to me how to handle this. So I was curious if anyone had similar issues as of yet...

I do have an error message through the browser console:

"language?cachebust=1737983415818"

status 431 type xhr
