Cannot synchronize SQL user directory if existing users flag unchecked

Hello I have a SQL Server User Directory.

If I run the synchronize task and the directory has the 

"Synch user data for existing users" unchecked the task fails.

What could I check?

Hello!

You will need to start by checking the logs under C:\Programdata\Qlik\Sense\Log\Repository\Trace\ServerName_UserManagement_Repository.txt
