Changing service account breaks QMC and HUB web interface

I am attempting to "add data" using an excel spreadsheet which a user has to have access to make modifications to before the App is reloaded. I an unable to access a network share via UNC due to permissions issues. It is my understanding that the service account running the QlikSense services on the QlikSense server are the credentials being passed. Because the service account is a local computer account, this isn't possible. I have been told by the Qlik professional services consultant that we can change the service account to be a network user account that will then be able to be given permission to the network share. I have followed the instructions in the following video twice but cannot get the network user ID to actually work. I do all the prerequisites in the video, including changing the service account login. The services all have no issue starting with the new ID i have entered, but the web portion of Qlik doesn't seem to like it. As i said, the services all start with no issue, but when you try to access the Hub or the QMC, you get a connection refused error in the browser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ke-_GNGd64Q&t=35s.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @chadingram ,

If you have followed all the steps outlined in below article:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Qlik-Sense-Service-Account-requirements-and-how-to-chan...

Check if you have set allow logon as service for the account which you are using newly and administrator group access for that account.
