Converting Licenses Question

Hi all,

We are about to convert our Qlik Sense Enterprise Tokens to Professional / Analyzer Capacity, and I have a question : 

As I understand, the conversion breaks down like this (https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/How-to-Convert-Qlik-Sense-Enterprise-Tokens-...) :

• User Access Passes -> Professional
• Everyone else into Analyzer Capacity

My question is : what happens when we have more users on user access passes than we have professional licenses on the new licenses ?

The difference comes from the fact that part of our users on user access pass are planned to get analyzer user access.

Will the extra users on user access passes get analyzer user access automatically ?

Is this a possible problem for the conversion ?

Using Analyzer Capacity license could be a challenge because you need to monitor for how long time users are connected to Qlik on daily basis. If you consume all your minute credits by the middle of the months, users that don´t have a Professional license will not be allowed to access the apps until next month.

Every user that comes to Qlik Sense environment and don´t have a professional license , automatically will consume minutes from your analyzer capacity pool at the moment they open an app.

So, at the moment of the conversion, every user that doesn't get a professional license (because of the difference between our number of user access passes and our new number of professional licenses) will automatically be on the analyzer capacity pool ?

We alos have a number of analyzer access licenses on the new licenses, so we just have to give them after the conversion if I understand correctly ?

Hi,

In our first test, there was no conversion, so no trouble since we just had to give the new licenses to everyone without any "wrong" conversion to fix.
