IDp Switch Test

I am conducting a test wherein we will be switching our IDp to a new AD  and then Switching it back to the original AD. For testing a few user email that are present on the current AD will be migrated to the new AD and we will switch the IDp. Access to a few newly created apps will be tested. However, all the current users will not be present when we switch.

When we switch back is there any risk for eg
a - will any content be lost (user created content)

b - ant permissions, especially through grps, will they be lost

Please guide me on the risks here and any advice on mitigating the same

Interesting question, what environment?

Client-managed - Qlik Sense Enterprise, or

Qlik Cloud (Qlik Sense SaaS)

Hi

I am referring the the following link and point 4,5 and 6 are not making much sense to me as how can content be manually moved to new account before the idp switch

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Admin/mc-change-corporat...

point 4 ,5 and 6 are as under

4- Identify users whose current email address does not match the corporate email address. When you switch IdPs to preserve content, the email addresses should match.

5-For users who do not have a matching email address, the tenant admin needs to manually move content to the new account.

6-Again, check the user list via the Administration activity center and verify that the correct corporate email addresses are now assigned to all users.
